The Woodward 9905-001 SPM-A Synchronizer is a microprocessor-based synchronizer designed for use in power generation systems where precise generator synchronization is critical. This model is part of the SPM-A series and is specifically the variant without Voltage Matching (VM). It ensures that a generator's frequency and phase are matched to a bus or another generator before closing the breaker.

The 9905-001 is ideal for applications that require only phase and frequency synchronization, such as utility paralleling or load sharing operations, where voltage matching is handled by other equipment or is not needed.
