ABB PROFIBUS Redundant Link Module RLM01 3BDZ000398R1

Description

Field devices equipped with only one PROFIBUS DP interface can be integrated into a redundant PROFIBUS network via the Redundant Link Module RLM01. Like an active switch, the RLM01 converts two redundant links into one PROFIBUS DP link and vice versa. The RLM01 amplifies the signal form and amplitude of the input data and monitors the activity and error status of the three links.
