Description:

The Bently Nevada 330903-02-16-05-02-00 is a 3300 XL NSv proximity probe. It is a non-contacting vibration and position sensor that uses eddy currents to measure the proximity of a target to the probe tip. Designed for harsh environments, it is resistant to shock, vibration, and temperature extremes.

Technical Specifications:

• Range: 0 to 1.5 mm (0 to 60 mils)
• Accuracy: ±2.5% of full range
• Resolution: 0.1 µm (0.4 µin)
• Frequency response: 20 Hz to 20 kHz
• Output: 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil)
• Operating temperature: -40 to 260°C (-40 to 500°F)
• Protection rating: IP67

The probe is commonly used for radial vibration and position measurements, axial (thrust) position measurements, tachometer and zero-speed measurements, and phase reference (Keyphasor signals). It's ideal for fluid-filmed bearing machines with small shafts or reduced side-views and small target applications.
