Product Description

• The Bently Nevada 3500/50M Tachometer Module is a 2-channel module designed to monitor and analyze shaft rotational speed, rotor acceleration, and rotor direction in rotating machinery.
• It accepts input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups and compares these measurements against user-defined alarm setpoints.
• When setpoints are exceeded, the module generates alarms to alert operators of potential issues.

• Input Signals: Accepts two transducer signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups.
• Input Signal Range: +10.0 V to -24.0 V.
• Input Impedance: 20 kΩ (standard), 40 kΩ (TMR), 7.15 kΩ (Internal Barrier).

• Front Panel LEDs: OK, TX/RX, Bypass.
• Output Impedance: 550 Ω.

• Peak Hold: Stores the highest speed, highest reverse speed, or number of reverse rotations.
• Keyphasor Signal Output: Provides conditioned Keyphasor signals for other 3500 system components.
• Zero Speed Detection: Can detect zero speed conditions.
• Reverse Rotation Detection: Can detect reverse rotation.
• Alarm Setpoints: User-programmable alarm setpoints for speed, acceleration, and direction.
