The EPRO PR9268 is a mechanical velocity sensor for absolute vibration measurement of critical turbomachinery applications such as steam, gas and hydro turbines, compressors, pumps and fans to measure case vibration. It is available in a variety of orientations and cable lengths, and can be supplied with or without a Harting connector.
The sensor has a sensitivity of 17.5 mV/mm/s (01x-x00) or 28.5 mV/mm/s (20x-x00, 30x-x00), a frequency range of 14 to 1000 Hz, and a natural frequency of 4.5 Hz ± 0.75 Hz @ 20°C (68°F). It can withstand a maximum acceleration of 10g (98.1 m/s2) continuous, 20g (196.2 m/s2) intermittent, and a maximum transverse acceleration of 2g (19.62 m/s2)
