GE Fanuc IC200CHS002 Box-Style I/O Carrier In Stock

The GE Fanuc IC200CHS002 is a Box-Style I/O Carrier manufactured by Ge Fanuc for its VersaMax series, consists of 36 IEC box-style terminals. It serves the purpose of providing backplane communications, mounting, and field wiring for one input-output module.

The IC200CHS002 boasts several features, including its capacity to support wiring for a maximum of 32 input-output points along with 4 shared power connections. The carrier is equipped with easily adjustable keying controls to ensure the correct module type's proper installation. These keys align with the keying at the module's base, and male/female connectors between carriers facilitate swift connections at the backplane, eliminating the need for additional cables or tools. A module latch hole secures the module to the carrier, while a transparent protective hinged door covers the wiring terminals. An auxiliary input-output terminal strip allows for additional bussed connection points.

During installation, the IC200CHS002 easily snaps onto a 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail. To provide EMC protection, it is crucial to electrically ground the DIN rail. The rail should possess a conductive, corrosion-resistant finish, preferably unpainted. For applications demanding maximum resistance to mechanical vibration and shock, panel-mounting of the IC200CHS002 is necessary. During field wiring, each terminal can accommodate one solid/stranded AWG of 14 to AWG of 22 or two wires up to AWG of 18.
