The ICS Triplex T8311C is a Trusted TMR Expander Interface module. It is designed to provide the interface between the Controller Chassis and the Expander Chassis in a TrustedTM system. The T8311C is a triple modular redundant (TMR) module, meaning that it has three independent processors that execute the same program in parallel. This provides fault tolerance and ensures that the system remains operational even if one processor fails.

The T8311C is T2V Certified IEC 61508 SIL 3, meaning that it has been independently tested and certified to meet the highest safety standards. It is also certified to EN 50128 TUV Rheinland.
