The Honeywell FC-SDO-0824 is a 24VDC, 0.55A, 8-channel, fail-safe digital output module. It is used in safety-critical applications to ensure that outputs are turned off in the event of a power failure or other system fault. The module has a built-in watchdog timer that will reset the outputs if they do not receive a valid signal within a specified time period.
The FC-SDO-0824 is compatible with a variety of Honeywell safety controllers, including the Safety Manager 4000, Safety Manager 5000, and Safety Manager 6000. It can also be used with other third-party safety controllers that support the EN61508 SIL2 or SIL3 safety integrity levels.
