Description:
The PR6423/164-110 | EPRO Eddy Current Sensor is equipped with a signal converter CON that forms an oscillator circuit. The presence of a metallic object in front of the transducer causes the amplitude of oscillation to decrease, with the level of damping being directly proportional to the distance between the transducer and the object being measured. These transducers come pre-adjusted with no need for on-site calibration, requiring only adjustment of the gap between the transducer and the object to obtain the desired signal at the converter output.
